I love the snow!! When there is an opportunity to play in the snow I take it. So lets just say that my nieces just had to ask once. I only made Lilli cry once, that was the first and last time they got to ride together. Oh and Mags only hit her head on a rock once, so that is pretty good for an hour of tobogganing. Notice the proud mother moment, Annabelle riding with Mom!! That girl is fearless. I love these girls and I am so grateful to have these opportunities with them. Thanks for playing with me.

We moved!
Surprise Surprise!! Jeff and I have been contemplating space for a long time. We were living in a beautiful home with lots of square footage...that we didn't use. But the back yard and parking space was not really what we needed. So after many long nights, and fasting and praying, we decided out we go. You know when you get that feeling of wow that is what we need to do. Well Jeff and I have this problem...if we get that wow feeling we act on it. It may take us months to figure it out but as soon as we do watch out. So we found this fun little house...one level I might add..hooray....It has a huge backyard, a spacious shop to park all of our toys in. Also plenty of parking for all of our trailers. Oh yeah only 2 toilets to clean!! Hooray no neighborhood association to send us hate mail for our trash cans and Handyman trailers out. So we are all moved in just in time to put up decorations for Christmas, notice the project outside with the lights....Go Jeff!! So you are all welcome at our new humble abode, so stop in anytime. We would love to see you!!

We are IT!!
I love these kinds of activities, thanks Erin!
Ten things I love about this baby!!!
10. She always has to help, with everything.
9. Her smell, since day one, I can't get enough of it.
8. Her sense of adventure, always willing to try something new, with Mom and Dad.
7. She has to say "Hi" to everyone.
6. When we pray she covers her eyes with her arms folded.
5. She knows that "Oroni" is "on top of Temple."
4. When she uses big words and phrases, like "no way" or "yeah sure" or "peace out."
3. Her laugh, like her real gut laugh when she is tickled.
2. Kisses and Noses everyday.
1. "My Momma is my best friend" tear!
We Love You Annabelle!

Fun Days In October
Wow does time fly. Well October has been a very quick month, with the World Series, Bronco Football, and of course Halloween. Annabelle has grown so much. Her vocabulary is getting very diverse these days. Everyday she says something new. Just this very moment she is into "Rarrring" into my face, like a lion. She tries to count, 1 2 5 7 8, sometimes she will say 1 2 3. She tries to tie, her shoes, my sweatshirt strings, anything that has strings. Her favorite movies are Cinderalla, Little Mermaid, Charolett's Web, Tarzan, Mulan, Nemo, I'm always trying to get her on new movies. The best thing she did today was I asked her if she was my best friend and she said yes, then we asked if Dad was her best friend and she said yes, we asked about Grandma and Erin Hunsaker and she said yes.

Millions of Peaches
Well don't be scared, my mother, sis in law Lacey, and myself.....canned peaches. 47 quarts and 13 pints, and 5 hours later we had a great time. That night when I closed my eyes to sleep, all I could see were peaches. Another milestone on this accomplished day, was that Annabelle not having a nap...just to much fun with the cousins around....figured out how to summersalt on her own. It was about 9pm, after her bath. She was running around like a crazy girl, then she stopped put her head down and bam tipped over on her back. We all cheered and so she jumped up and did it again. So of course I had to get pictures so I made her do it again and again.

Bronco Opener
Blue and Orange has started again. We are blessed to have season tickets, with both sets of our parents. Annabelle loves it..."Two Poppas and Two Granmas" The best part of the game for Annabelle is the "horsey, touchdown." If you have not been to a home game, the bronco takes a lap around the track after each touchdown. So being in the south endzone, we get a sweet view of the horsey. So the whole game she has her eyes on the horsey, waiting to put her hands up in the air for the touchdown. We are working on the "and that's another Bronco firstdown." with the hand movement, she does it just a little delayed. She is the only girl I know that could sleep through a game though...Granma loves that.

Southern Utah
Jeff and I decided to finally take a week and go see the National Parks in Utah. We stayed ......this is where Kristina says she has writers block and Jeff gets to BLOG!!!!!! The real truth.....the Red Sox are on ESPN and I can't pull my wife away from those baseball butts!!!! So southern Utah was awesome....it was a great week. We stayed at a resort in Brian Head which is about 30 min. from Cedar City, but in the mountains at 10,000 feet elevation. The windows in our unit over looked a ridge and faced east....which made for a gnarly sunrise every morning at 6:55....this also made for a gnarly Annabelle rise every morning at about 7:05.....see the pictures! Our friends the Graves...Stratton and Erin who live in Bountiful came and played with us for a few days....they called in "siiiiiiick" it was fun for them to play hookie with us....we went to the Grand Canyon....which didn't even seem real, it was Annabelle's favorite place to run....THREE FEET FROM THE EDGE OF THE EARTH......it was a stressful walk along the north rim for mom and dad. She is so adventurous and loves nature....she even learned how to call in a chipmunk while we were at Bryce Canyon National park....click click click with her little tongue...kinda freaked mom out, we all know how much Kris loves rodents. While we were at Bryce Canyon, we got caught in a sudden hail storm....this was the first time I have ever seen rain fall below the elevation of the ground I was standing on....it was so majestic to watch the dew from heaven ascend into the canyon floor and stand there and just take it all in.....and then run like crazy with Annabelle in my arms and be soaking wet and have the windows fog up in the car!!!! see the pictures!!!! A trip through Zions park and Capitol reef were very scenic, lots of animals......MAYBE!...ask Annabelle! We actually saw a lot of deer and some antelope....we probably would have missed the antelope, but our trusty tom tom navigation system managed to get us driving our full size s.u.v. down a Nordic ski trail...don't tell the authorities! Kris thought that since we were "so close" that we should go to Arches and Canyonlands, so we did. That was a late night we returned to our resort at ohhh 2:30 in the AM. On the way home, we met our friend Amy Hunsaker at the Hogle zoo, we had hot dogs and dipped them in catsup and Dr. Pepper...yum!!!!! We saw all kinds of exotic and native wildlife...including a mountain lion that was hungry enough to eat our little Annabelle for lunch...good thing there was a fence to stop her from eating our baby...you should have seen Kris go into momma bear mode when that cat started to lick her lips. Speaking of lip smacking...later that night we met the rest of the Caldwell girls and had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe... Well, all in all it was a real fun week, and since my words can't do it justice, you can bet that Kristina will put together a gnarly picture slide show with awesome music about how great i am....it was a fast week...really fast..,.TWO speeding tickets fast. We are still finding the beautiful red dirt and pebbles in our car from our adventurous toddler sized hikes in the canyons of Utah. So I decided to make a movie instead of posting 3 thousand pictures. Please take sometime and enjoy Southern Utah with us. Sorry it is so long, just so many pictures!!! To fulfil my OCD habits it is in chronological order.

Twin Falls
The Twin Falls Temple
Emi and Annabelle Best Friends
Future Rock Climbers
Monkey see monkey do.
In front of Shoshone Falls
Shoshone Falls
This past weekend we decided to go to the Twin Falls Temple open house. Wow what a beautiful temple. I love that you can see it from the interstate. After the open house we went to Shoshone Falls, were we had lunch and played. Lilli and Maggie are rock climbers, so every opportunity they climb rocks. Annabelle of course has to do everything that her cousins do...so that led to her finding a pint sized rock just the right size for her to climb. It was a great trip and a wonderful place to be with all of our families and friends. The Keczmers, Hunsakers, Chelsea, Bryan, the Greens and folks, thanks for making it a great trip.

Happy Birthday To US!!
Notice the big bite.
Pedroia turning a double play!!!
Peanuts Peanuts!!!
As You might all know Jeff and I have the same BDay. So we always try to go big. This year because our adopted daughter had a BDay and high school graduation, we thought that she needed something special also. So we decided to chase the Boston Red Sox to Seattle. It was a beautiful game. The Red Sox won 4-0.

4th of July...a lil late
We had quite the fun 4th of July. We started it off by sleeping in our tent trailer, we didn't go far....the side yard. Then we dusted off the old Baja Bug and drove it to the Hunsakers house for a BBQ and some pool fun. And for the sake of tradition, we headed out to Melba. We had a slight hiccup on the way to the fireworks. Well I am kinda good at running out of gas in the old Baja. Yeah...I did it again, on the way to Melba. Luckily my parents weren't too far behind. Melba put on another good show, especially with "Great Balls Of Fire" With Faith Hill's version of the "Star Spangled Banner" in my head and my parents home made ice cream in my belly, home we went, well to get more gas and to drop off the sleeping children. Then back to the thriving town of Melba once more. Even with the double trip and the long day in the sun it was another good year for tradition. Thanks Mom and Dad... and Jeff and Annabelle for putting up with my crazy traditions.
