Montana Or Bust.

Very fresh newborn Buffalo.Big Horn Sheep

This past weekend we had the great opportunity to go on a family trip to Montana. Jeff had an away game in Montana. So Friday we headed to McCall for some much needed visitation with our Northern family. They so kindly opened their home to us. So Saturday morning we headed up Highway 12 through country that we together as a family have never been on! Hooray I love a new adventure. Shortly before game time we arrive in Missoula. Burr! We girls stuck out the game in the car in from the cold wind and some rain. Matadors won!! Good Game Jeff! Sunday morning we of course had to hit the "waterpark" that was inside of the hotel - sweet slides and some fun fountains. Then off to Yellowstone. I have said this before but, Wow my girls travel so well! Before we got to Yellowstone, to break up the trip we stopped at the Montana Grizzly Encounter, very cool low key bear exhibit. The 800 lb Grizzly even waved at us, good job, Brutus. We have never been in the North Entrance of Yellowstone, so took the extra milage and entered from the top, so before you get to the Entrance you travel in an open fielded canyon, of course filled with wildlife. Before we even got to Yellowstone we saw, Elk, Deer, Antelope, Big Horn Sheep and Buffalo. Then we got into the "Park." Sorry just wanted to feel like a native. Once again we weren't let down by the majesticness of the National Park. We actually were within seconds of seeing 2 wolves. Well at least we got to follow the tracks following along the road for quite a few miles. Shucks!! A car going the other direction pointed them out 2 seconds after they went into the thickness of the trees. Staying in West Yellowstone was fun, good pizza if you ever are wondering, and of course another swimming pool. Monday we finally headed home. Thank you family for the amazing vacation.

Number 1!!

Sorry I am a week late! My beautiful baby isn't so much a baby anymore! She had her first birthday. We celebrated throughout the week, Thank you everyone for your perfect gifts, I am always amazed at family and friends generosity! Loralei is walking....when she wants to. She is the most baby loving kid I know! Whenever she finds a baby doll she hugs, kisses..wet ones, pats it's back, and rocks it. Bath time is full of laughter, mostly because she won't leave her big sisters belly button alone. Loralei is so feisty, which is new for me, but also very loving. Everyone always asks me is she always this way...smiling, and happy? Of course she is always smiling, and laughing and very happy. We are so blessed to have her in our family. Happy Birthday Loralei! We Love You So Much!

Sister fun!

So lately all that we have been up to is PLAYING! Loralei is now mobile so when ever I turn around she is gone. With only one bathroom incident we have all learned that doors are to remain closed. Most of the time when I lose her she has meandered to her bedroom, either to find her sister or to lead her sister to play. This has been so much fun to stand in the corner and watch them play together and grow together. Annabelle is quite patient, while at the same time Loralei is so forgiving, and durable....Thank heavens.

My baby 4 years ago!
Her Birthday lunch where better than Red Robin, her idea to wear the birthday hat to the resturant.
All of those years of toliet papering came into good use, notice that Annabelle is sleeping below me.
This is how we found her in the morning...."Mom I can't get out of my bed! Those balloons are trapping me."
My girls getting so big and beautiful! Happy Birthday Annabelle!
