At the base of a "mountain."

Us at BYU.
Poppa and Annabelle in the tent.

Yes, dinner in the tent!

And yes they actually slept in the tent.

This past weekend I had the amazing privilege of going to Women's Conference in Provo, Utah. I had a wonderful time of bonding with new friends and being uplifted and motivated by the spirit. We had a great time, I can't remember the last time I meandered through a mall. So back at home, at the base of Mountain Living Room Furniture, Jeff and Annabelle pitched a tent and camped all weekend. They even had Smores with Grandma and Poppa Hankins, cooked over a real flame. When I got home Annabelle told me all about the tent and the Smores, she had great time and made great memories with her dad. I have such a wonderful husband!!!

Whee!!!

So it has been a long time! Our lives have been very busy these days. We moved!! Yes that is again. We are now in a subdivision again. Ironic!! But hey the house is nicer and not as much yard to take care of. We are told time and time again to live within our means....yes this means within, not at our means. So much contemplation and prayers we decided to box up again. We are still in the 20th Ward, which is awesome!! This sums up the past month!!

With all of this change going on Annabelle is growing up day by day. She is potty trained!!! Okay the move has definitely put a monkey wrench in her routine but we are adjusting. Her vocab is definitely getting better and better.....funny note....Grandma swore this morning and to our surprise a little curse word creeped out of her pure little mouth. I laughed.
Aunt Lacey took her 2 year photos this weekend, ahhh pure perfection. Jeff is gearing up for a busy April...Hooray!!! And I am gearing up for Girls Camp and of course unloading boxes.

Our highlight for the past month is this weather....we finally got to gear up and go for a ride. Now what kind of parents would we be if we didn't take our little motocross star with us. She was so good about getting her pants on and her boots and of course her helmet. She was all game face. It is going to be a fantastic Spring!!

The Big 2!!

The big day!

August, Go Broncos!

January, Walking all my myself!

July, Sitting all by myself!

Day 1. So Tiny and Perfect.

Happy Birthday Annabelle!

I just wanted to share this joyous time with each of you. Annabelle is officially 2. Hooray finally a big girl. She is working really hard at being a non diaper wearing girl. We are at 4 days with only 2 accidents. I think that she is doing better with it than I am. She knows how to count to 4. "I am 2, my mom and dad are 27." Whenever I clean she has to be helping me, she is quite the little sweeper, and vacuumer. The other day she actually grabbed a rag out of the drawer and wiped up the floor. My lil angel. She says, "I get married" so I say where? "In the temple." Again tear! She finally loves nursery. She is a movie quoter, I caught her just the other day saying a line from Sleeping Beauty before the lil fairy said it. She loves to sing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, and I love to see the temple. Oh and of course "I know you I walk with you once upon a dream." from Sleeping Beauty. I just wanted to share a little bit about my lil big girl.

New Year Adventure

Jeff and I always try to get out and see new places. So what better day then the 1st of January? So we set off to the south. There is a lot of nothing down south. But to our surprise we found a beautiful over look of Bruneau Canyon. Since we were that far from home we had to see the Bruneau Sand Dunes. I love Idaho!!!

Snow Day!

I love the snow!! When there is an opportunity to play in the snow I take it. So lets just say that my nieces just had to ask once. I only made Lilli cry once, that was the first and last time they got to ride together. Oh and Mags only hit her head on a rock once, so that is pretty good for an hour of tobogganing. Notice the proud mother moment, Annabelle riding with Mom!! That girl is fearless. I love these girls and I am so grateful to have these opportunities with them. Thanks for playing with me.

We moved!

Surprise Surprise!! Jeff and I have been contemplating space for a long time. We were living in a beautiful home with lots of square footage...that we didn't use. But the back yard and parking space was not really what we needed. So after many long nights, and fasting and praying, we decided out we go. You know when you get that feeling of wow that is what we need to do. Well Jeff and I have this problem...if we get that wow feeling we act on it. It may take us months to figure it out but as soon as we do watch out. So we found this fun little house...one level I might add..hooray....It has a huge backyard, a spacious shop to park all of our toys in. Also plenty of parking for all of our trailers. Oh yeah only 2 toilets to clean!! Hooray no neighborhood association to send us hate mail for our trash cans and Handyman trailers out. So we are all moved in just in time to put up decorations for Christmas, notice the project outside with the lights....Go Jeff!! So you are all welcome at our new humble abode, so stop in anytime. We would love to see you!!

We are IT!!

I love these kinds of activities, thanks Erin!

Ten things I love about this baby!!!

10. She always has to help, with everything.

9. Her smell, since day one, I can't get enough of it.

8. Her sense of adventure, always willing to try something new, with Mom and Dad.

7. She has to say "Hi" to everyone.

6. When we pray she covers her eyes with her arms folded.

5. She knows that "Oroni" is "on top of Temple."

4. When she uses big words and phrases, like "no way" or "yeah sure" or "peace out."

3. Her laugh, like her real gut laugh when she is tickled.

2. Kisses and Noses everyday.

1. "My Momma is my best friend" tear!

We Love You Annabelle!
